I'm electronically challenged, so my blog  and my products are all over the place.
it's actually amazing that I get anything on here at all.

please click on all the links to see them all.
one of these days I'll figure it all out, but in the meantime, my creative juices flow in a different direction.
Thanks for looking.

My Mission Statement.

creating hand crafted soap that nourishes and protects your skin
made in small batches, to retain freshness

all Soapchick Soap begin with oils good enough to eat.  I use only food grade oils that nourinsh and pamper your skin.
all my bases contain oil of coconut, avocado, olive, palm, castor, vitamin e to retain freshness.

additions are herbal powders, such as turmeric, rosemary, tomato, apricot kernel, sandalwood
clays such as bentonite, rose, and french green
specialty soap may also contain goatmilk, honey, colloidial oatmeal, butters such as shea, coco, chamomile avocado, etc. Sea salt.

there are no artificial colors in my soap.
small batches are made from scratch, using the Hot Process Method.

during the soapmaking process, sodium hydroxide, (lye) is added to the oils
this is called saponification.  No lye remains, once the cooking process is completed.
Soap is made with lye, but does not contain lye.
